    How to use & FAQ

Dump it, star it, do it

A busy head holds onto everything at once. Writing it all down frees up attention for the work itself. Start by typing or pasting every task, worry, and reminder into the box. Don’t sort yet.

Then pick the few things that matter today and press the star. Starred items jump to Top priorities, and everything else waits below. Drag the grip, or use the arrow keys on it, to put things in order. Check items off as you finish them, edit any line by clicking its text, and clear done items when the list gets long.

Your list is saved in this browser only, so it is still there when you come back, and the page opens straight to it. Press Print for a clean paper copy with today’s date. Pair the list with our visual timer when you want a visible countdown for each task.

    Frequently asked questions

What is this to-do list for?

It is a quick place to brain dump everything on your mind, then sort it. Type or paste your thoughts, star the few that matter today so they move to the top, drag them into order, and check them off as you go.

Can I paste a list I already have?

Yes. Paste a list from notes, email, or a document into the box and every line becomes its own item. Bullets, numbers, and empty checkboxes at the start of lines are removed.

How do I reorder, edit, or delete items?

Drag the grip on the left of an item, or focus it and use the up and down arrow keys. Click an item’s text to edit it. The trash can on the right deletes an item after you confirm, whether it is done or not.

    Does it save my list?

Yes. Your list stays in this browser on this device using local storage. Nothing you type is sent to a server. Clearing site data or using another browser starts a fresh list.

Why did the page get shorter?

Once your list has items, the page opens straight to the list so you can use it every day. Press About this tool to show this information again, or Hide info to tuck it away. Your choice is remembered in this browser.

Is it free, and does it need an account?

It is free, needs no account, and has no ads inside the tool.

    Can I print my list?

Press Print, or use your browser’s print command. The printed page shows today’s date and your list in black and white, without site navigation or buttons.
